Please note that we do not have a subscription to the full-text. Accessing King's theses Previous PhD theses are held in the Maughan Library in the closed access store and can only be consulted in the library.

To identify relevant items within the Theses collection, you can refine by Resource Type on Library Search or you can use the Subsets option on the Library Catalogue. Please ask at the Library Enquiry Desk for more details and a request form.

Please note, the library tends not to hold MA level dissertations. Some of our theses have been digitised and are available for free immediate download via the EThOS service.

Accessing theses from other universities A range of different access arrangements allow you to visit other libraries although you may not be able to access their dissertations or theses. Please contact the library before visiting to avoid being disappointed.

As an alternative, you might be able to get hold of the thesis you need via our Inter-library loan service but do bear in mind that this kind of material is often unavailable for loan.
